DH's thighs are covered in ingrown hairs form his new work trousers and they are really starting to pain him. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a treatment or lotion etc that will help get rid of them at all. Thanks.

A really good exfoliate should do the job.
My Dad gets the same and finds that a good wash with Solvol every couple of days does the trick (Solvol was the closest thing to an exfoliant that I could get him to use :) )
There is an ingrown hair solution you can get from Priceline. Has a bit of a smell though.
Thanks girls. Solvol might be the go, we have some of that here.
there is also a product called.. "ingrow go"... i havent used it but ive had girlfriends who say its amazing...
I get this all over my bikini area (tough hair, very thin skin) and i just gently exfoliate and use a moisturiser. You either need to scrub off the surface so the hairs can grow out or keep the skin soft so they can push through themselves.

Bec
Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate!
Then, moisurise. I would also, once a day, rub tea tree oil in. I do this neat, the same way you do for pimples or boils.
Ingrown go is excellent, but tea tree oil is cheaper! TT oil will dry up the infection at the site and help heal the skin, too.
And Asprin.........
Exfoliate and Asprin........
A guy a use to flat with had this problem Sherie, and ended up at the gp.......who recommended Asprin (which thins the blood or something? Helps fight potential infection?) then a warm shower, with a solvol/loofa exfoliate, then sorbolene moisteriser........
