Playgroup/Activities for 18mth old in Perth?

Hi everyone

We will be visiting family in Perth for about a month, and need some fun ideas to keep our 18mth old busy. At home, I usually take her to a great playgroup, storytime at the library, kiddy-gym etc, but want to track down something similar in Perth. Any recommendations and comments are much appreciated.

We have a great playgroup and story time at the library near me - i'm in carlisle - where in Perth will you be visiting? i think most areas will have similar things

Unfortunately, Carlisle will be a bit of a drive.We will be living with family in Nedlands. I tried the storytime at Nedlands library when we were back last year. Maybe the librarian was having a bad day, but she just didn't seem into it, and actually asked if she could skip one of the stories. Am hoping to find somewhere with a little more enthusiasm :)

If you're in Nedlands you'll be just up the road from Kings Park. There are a couple of great places to go with kids. Sticky Beaks cafe is just off Kings Park Rd and has a wonderful large play area and there is also the Western Power playground too.
