Incredible Cramps
I had the most incredible cramps last night. I was really tired and went to bed at 9.00 pm, I awoke at 11.00 pm with the really bad pains in my lower abdominal area. I went to the toilet, no blood, they continued throughout the night and I woke up this morning with very little pain. Went to the toilet again, no blood.
I’m having a BT on Thursday to test my HCG levels again so if something has gone wrong, there’s not much I can do about it now…. Had a test last Thursday and HCG was 650, which FS clinic was happy with.
I’m kind of anxious since I had a MC in May, but the pains felt different to that. Could it be the baby snuggling in? I have no idea, this is my first! It hurt when I stretched my torso out. I've had very, very mild AF type pains since implantation, plus some mild lower back pain too.
Any advice???

I too had really horrible cramps for about 2 weeks at the very beginning of my pregnancy. It was enough for me to have to stop everything I was doing and curl up on the floor. I think happened a few times a day, but not every single day for me.
I'm sure everything is ok!

Ah, thankyou Karina, you've settled me!
*hugs*

I too had cramps. Apparently things are just getting into place which is why we get all those lovely niggly pains. Ahhhh pregnancy hehe

Shoegal,
I had some pretty nasty cramps all from implantation to about 9 weeks or so. Your uterus has so much growing to do. As long as no blood, it is perfectly normal.
-
Thankyou Nikki and jenjams. It's our first bubba so I'm just very anxious, especially as I MC'd at almost 6 weeks in May.
Thankyou again for your reassurance.

shoegal - were your cramps very painful? I get cramps in the lower ab, like you know when it's really cold and you're controlling your pee, and it's starts to cramp and hurt.. lol..
i had my first scan last week and it was all good. i was worried too but the other ladies said some cramping is quite normal.
good luck on Thurs!

Yes prama, really painful. I was doubled over in pain.
Feel perfectly normal now though! Having a scan at FS clinic in about 4 weeks.
Thanks!

if you're worried, hun, maybe go see your GP

Nah, I'm okay now. Not much I could do anyway if something were to go wrong. Will find out my next HCG levels on Friday. Will update then.

I also had cramping for about a week early on...was told by Ob i was normal..Just uterus expanding and things moving!
then it went away and only the ocassional little niggle now! :) all will be well!

Me too.
I had cramping almost from the beginning (b4 bfp). Am just before 6 week now, and m worried because I am NOt cramping as much! ) I kind of got used to it!
Everything I read said this was all OK.

Hey everyone, I'm happy to update that my HCG level yesterday was 6900! FS clinic nurse is very happy and said the cramps were normal, just as long as there wasn't any bleeding.
Thanks again for all your reassurances.
