Weekend Away with 1 bub?

Dh and I try to get away for a weekend twice a year by ourselves. We are thinking about going away again in the next couple of months and seeing that I am breast feeding our new DS, we have to either wait until I stop (which is anyones guess when I do) or maybe take DS2 with us and leave DS1 with his grandparents. DS1 loves being with his gran, she is great with him so Im all ok with that. DS1 is only 16mths would you think that he would feel left out or even jealous that we didnt take him?

Would you put the weekend away off until you stop breastfeeding or would you go. I thought going while DS2 is so small would be best.

hey there...not sure about your eldest. Im pretty sure he is too young to feel left out though.

We have gone away for a few weekends since Mason has been born and he has been an angel. Best to get away while he is still young and portable

i think i would wait until i stopped BF. not because of DS1, but it should be the weekend for you and DH.

maybe you cant have any cosy togetherness, if you have one child with you :heartbeat:

what about expressing and leaving them both with someone - and just go to a hotel in the city for the night?
