Wats Going on wit me?
Hi Everybody,
Thought i would post cause im getting very frustrated wit my body.
My husband and i have bin TTC for 2 months now and i was due 4 my AF yesterday and still nothing, i have though bin getting some brown bits when i wiped yesterday and today but it isnt constant (sorry TMI).
Usually when this happens i get them full on within the next 2 hours.
Now the thing that annoys me the most is i have bin off BCP for almost 2 yrs and since ta day i stopped i have had a regular 28 day cycle then the 1st month of ttc i ended up wit a 30 day cycle now this month i am up to 31days.
I did a PG test (confirm) this morning wit FMU and BFN so i dont have a clue wat sgoing on.
Thanks for letting me vent

Hi!
I know how frustrating it is when you don't know what your body is doing. I hav PCOS and my body seems to have a mind of its own!
Best of luck TTC!

Hi Mindy, sometimes your body needs to readjust itself after coming off any form of birth control, I know I always need one full cycle off the BCP before TTC as I have long cycles between 34-36days. But it is still possible for you to fall pg if you are ovulating even on these longer cycles. Do you know when you ovulated this month at all? It could be possible that you are pg but it is just too early to get a positive test yet. Fingers crossed and good luck.

Thanks 4 the replys i have been off BCP for close to 2 years. I think i may have o'ed on the 23rd i had lots of pain that day but we BDed on the 14th 17th 21st and 23rd just to be sure.
I have had ultrasounds done to see wether i have endo as i get alot of mid cycle pain and that came up with nothing they put it down to mid cycle ovulation pain. About 4-5 days after the pain on 23rd i began to get some cramps on the right side which i dont ever get pain on.
Is it possible that i could b preg?

Hi Mel,
As you've been off BCP for almost 2 years your body would have totally readjusted by now. From what I've heard cycle length variation of up to 5 days can be considered normal. Isn't it just totally typical that the moment you TTC your body decides not to behave! Stress can affect the length of your cycle - perhaps the pressure of TTC has had an impact? Regarding the possibility of endo my sister was diagnosed with endo via a lap (the U/S came up -ve). Try not to stress over things - you could totally be pg and its just too early to tell! You'll find out one way or another very soon I hope. If you're not then wait and see what happens next cycle. If things aren't normal again then perhaps its time to try some further investigations to put your mind at ease.
Wishing you a BFP this month!

Thankyou all for your advice i think i will just wait it out and see wat happens.

Hi Mindy
Our bodies are strange things sometimes aren't they! I went of BCP in February (didn't actively try until April) and fell in April, first go. I think everybody's body is very different. I thought it may take longer because I had been on BCP for ages too but that just wasn't the case.
I also charted this pregnancy so when I tested at 8, 9 and 10 DPO, it was negative, however, a faint positive came up on 11DPO. I would not stress at all and you could be pregnant right now! I am hoping and praying that you are!
