I'm having an ultrasound tomorrow morning to check the progress of a dermoid in my ovary. It doesn't matter if DH and I BD tonight does it? Some EWCM appeared today and although I don't know if I'm going to ovulate or not, I'm not prepared to take any chances.
It should be OK shouldn't it? I know with pap smears they ask you to avoid BD for 72 hours but ultrasound?

I'm not 100 percent, but I would assume it would be perfectly fine.
Hopefully the other girls will be able to give you a difinite answer!

I think it would be fine. The reason for not BD before a pap smear is because it can affect the sample of the cells they take from the cervix. Can't think of any reason why this would be a problem for the ultrasound. (Internal - a little icky but so what!!)
With the appearance of the EWCM and the ultrasound, you'll be able to see if a follicle is preparing itself to O! Ask them to check that too!

Thanks Gigdet! I didn't think of that! My mind was focussed solely on hoping like crazy my dermoid hasn't grown. It's actually good timing in that case!!
