Okay the hopital has given me a list of what to take for me, but they haven't suggested anything for bubs and they don't supply anything besides blankets!!
We stay in hospital for 3 days, so I was thinking about 7 of everything.....wondersuits, singlets and a couple of pairs of socks/booties and a beanie!! Oh and nappies and cream and that general stuff but is there anything that I am maybe missing??
You might want to take some wraps, even if they supply blankets.
heres my list but i am in the birth centre and hoping to only stay 24hrs and the hospy supplies clothes and things for that time so idk if it will even help oh well here it is anyway
Going home clothes
Burping pad
Toiletries ( bath wash etc, cotton tips, baby powder, nappies, nappy wipes)
Wrap and or blanket for going home
Beanie
If you're only there for 3 days then 7 sounds like too much - my girld friend told me cause they don't seem to spit up as much as this stage so you don't have to change them as much. up to you though! Sounds like you're sprted thouhg. MAybe a cute outfit to go home in!
For Chelsea i packed (and i was only in there for 2 nights):
* 3 Bonds wonder suits
* Muslim wrap
* 3 singlets
* Mittens
* Going home outfit
* 2 summer suits
* Disposible nappies for going home-my hospital supplies MCN due to the fact in disposibles they cant judge wet nappies as well therefore wont let you use them
* 2 pairs of socks
* 3 Bottles (in case unable to BF or decided to FF, i needed them in the end)
Amelia clothes wise I am packing the same as you, I figure the clothes are small and dont take up to much room so I would rather have to much then not enough. My hospital supplies nappies etc though.
Katie - That was my thought and I thought I need to pack 000 and 0000 so I need a variety of both!! And summer ones as well.
Seems like we are both on the same page Amelia, I have packed both sizes too.
