Medicated Cycle?

Hello everybody

i am about to start another FET cycle. Af is due around the 19th of this month. apparently i am to call on day 1 as per usual, but this cycle i think they are starting tracking of bloods earlier. i didnt ovulate last cycle and the clinic nurse mentioned ultrasounds and maybe a booster injection to stimulate ovultion.

i know nothing about this as my last cycle was natural. is the ulstrasound to check the thickness of the endometrium?

would i need to take injections or pessaries after transfer?

i think Ellie has just done a transfer in this type of way...not sure

Yep - my cycle was a medicated FET...I'll give you a run down of my protocol...
Day 1 - ring clinic
Day 2 - BT
Day 3 - Start 25mg Puregon injections
Day 8 - BT (E2 was 350)
Day 10 - BT (E2 was 600) and u/s...to check lining and follicles ( I had one leading follie for the first time in my life and was a 17mm at u/s so didn't need another scan...I think my lining was 10?)
Day 11 - BT (E2 was 800 LH 9)
Day 13 - BT (E2 was 900 LH 48 - surge day!) trigger pregnyl 5000 at 8pm...nurse said they like E2 between 800 - 1000...
Day 17 - Booster shot pregnyl 1500
Day 18 - Transfer
Day 20 - Booster shot pregnyl 1500
Day 23 - Booster shot pregnyl 1500
Day 25 - BT to check E2 and P4
Day 32 - BT...preg test!@?!

I'm only day 20 today so still got a bit to do yet!

wow! that IS like a fully stimulated cycle!!! maybe thats why the nurse was so wary when telling me i didnt ovulate and will need A trigger injection. wonder if i will do the same as you. was yours because of Ovulation probs... we should catch up and chat Ellie.. are you going to the meetup dinner in september?

It looks full on...but it was heaps easier than a full stim cycle...no EPU!!! I HATE EPU! My FS said I would have the needles just to 'get things going' to make sure there were a follie or too to trigger. He didn't seem to think this cycle would amount to much as he was already talking about my next full stim cycle and he wants to try a day one transfer...blah blah blah...which is why I was expecting the blasties not to thaw...and then they did!!!! So I'm still in shock at the moment...I have blasties in my tummy?! I think this is the first time I'm more likely to get pregnant than not...going on the odds of blasties and the fact I had two put in...I live in hope! But yes...we should chat!

its on sat 1 sept at 6.20 in vic park at Pancho's mexican. there is a thread with all the details and who is or isnt going. Michelle is organising it....i think the thread is PERTH MEET UP... im so happy transfer was such a positive experience. when is your BT?

i wonder if i will have such an involved expereince. i didnt have to go back and see my FS, he just told them to start me on my next cycle...

My BT is the 25th August...have you got an appointment with the nurse before you start? I'll be following with great interest!
