terry flat covers?????
i use terry flat nappies when i can with dd but i have not found any good covers. pvc ones were awful: made her hot and uncomfortable. i got polar fleece/pvc cuff ones from big w (CUTY), the cuff tore on one, so not using them anymore (getting a refund on unopened ones). any good brands would be great. i get confused as to which ones have to be used with prefolds, fitted etc.

hi catherine, i use a mixture of terrt flats and mcn. i was using the horrible pvc pilchers but bought 2 MotherEase Airflow PUL covers from DarlingsDownunder. I haven't used them yet but am going to use one tonight over a terry flat. i will let you know how it goes. I have also just ordered a Tots Bots fleece cover for overnight use as they are aparently better overnight than PUL. Anyway i will let you know how i go

I've just ordered a few PUL covers to use this time, I got some from tots bots and some from baby beehind.

I bought PUL covers from BBH and so far they seem to be doing OK - but I am waiting for the first poo to let you know ;) I have only just started to use the terry flats more often and I will be using the MCN I have bought soon too ........ then I can buy some more!!!

Michelle, I'm seriously addicted!! I've spent so much money in the last few weeks it's not funny. I didn't realise you were using cloth, good girl!
This is the only thing I've brought for Bubble so far, I think it's easier to buy stuff online and then just put it up in the cupboard for now!

hey ... i saw somewhere the other day that made covers for terry flats ....
Its iish fly nappies , they have covers for just the flat nappies .. google iish fly and you will see there groovy nappies

Ah Willow - the joys of denial :D I was in that state until I went into labour :cryinglaugh:
I've only just started using the cloth - it was my intention to do it from the beginning but breastfeeding issues put it on the backburner for a while  That's not really any better so I am just getting on with it. Let me know your favourite MCN's so I know what to buy next!!!

LOL! I know, it's shocking. I have massive attacks of guilt but then every time I try to buy something IRL it just ends up back on the shelf as I'm leaving the shop!!
So far I've got some peapods pockets (brought these off Michelle) and am going to get some BBH bamboo fitteds and PUL covers in the next few weeks. Have heard these are a good night nappies.
I've got covers from tots bots and one Berry Plush - you GOTTA get one of these for Oscar! They are gorgeous! I just got the cover (one of the animal print ones) but you can order the inserts too and use it as an all in one. I'll get the insert later on when Bubble is a bit bigger.
I've got my eye on a divine Happy Heiny too, might buy that next pay. You should check these out too, they have some pretty funky stuff! I'm going to wait till we know what flavour bubble is before I buy too much printed stuff though.
I'm going to use my terry and flannel flats for the first month or two. Then I'll switch to MCN.

Email me where you are getting them from!!! I seem to have trouble tracking them down - or I find too many and then get confused :D
I am only using the terry flats at the moment with tots bots PUL covers as Oscar took a while to grow (the terry flats were even too big on him!!) So far all I have are a bamboo and hemp BBH, a BBH wool cover and PUL's and two tots bots (one clip and one velcro) plus two of their covers. I got these from the baby expo just before Oscar was born.

hi catherine, just came back to update you on my PUL cover, i just put Archie to bed with the hugest thickest terry nappy on and the MotherEase Airflow cover fitted well, still had heaps of room left in it. the nappy is so thick that arch can hardly walk, he was running up the hallway in fits if laughter cause the nappy was so thinck it made him run really funny, lol!

Michelle, will email you a list of the sites I've been looking at, hopefully tonight! Gotta jump off now and get dinner organised.
After chatting to the girls in the cloth thread, going to give the Happy Heiny a miss for now, apparently they are quite big nappies and leak a bit with newborn poos, so better for older bubs.
It is confusing, especially at first, but the girls in the cloth nappy thread have helped me out heaps!
