What did you try??? I've done the following:
Chinese Predictor x 3 Varieties: Girl
Age + Month Number: Girl
Ring on String: Girl
I've had a dream I'm having a girl....I don't have any expectations so it will be interesting to see if all of these can be right, so far all have said a girl and none have said boy.
I am not shooting you down, just my opinion. I don't belive in stuff like that. I hoped and wished for a boy, everybody around me said girl, including DH. I had a beautiful daughter, won't trade her for anyting in the world
I did the ring thing - it said boy!
oh I don't belive it either....put it this way they have a 50/50 chance of being right lol :) I just found it funny the strange tests that people come up with!!!
im not too sure if i believe in all of these "old wive tales" either. As for entering days and months, this and that.. i dont really think they mean anything. being they have a 50/50 chance, you may see that they all came out right in the end, but this does not guarantee anything. i took these online prediction methods before i went for my first ultrasound to see what bub was, and all said girl. but then they say the can tell by the way youre carrying what your bub can be also, which i do not believe is true. at first i was carrying high, out and only gained weight in my stomach, was all baby. everyone swore boy. went for ultrasounds, they couldnt see anything really so they expected girl, but everyone know that ultrasounds arent 100% accurate and they could be wrong also. now towards the end, ive gained weight everywhere and "look like im having a girl". the ultrasounds still say girl, so my prediction was right. unless of course at the end of labor i push out a baby boy! there is really no point to this reply but id just let ya ll know :)
For my first child....every test i done said GIRL and every dream i had was a GIRL....i had a GIRL
With this bub i had mixed boys and girls.....
I personally do not believe in them....i took one test 3 times....and each time it told me somethign different... so i dont think they are true....and i wouldnt rely on them to be correct. I know to many people who have had their hopes built up on the tests to deliver the opposite.
Chinese Gender Charts said Zander was going to be a boy & well he is!!
I also have a lady at work that does the ring thing & every person she has done it to has been right. There were two of us pregnant at the same time & it was predicted I'd have a boy and the other girl would have a girl closely followed by a boy... She had a little girl then 17 months later a little boy!
The midwife who was there for both Lindsay and Erin's births correctly predicted their gender by looking at the crook of my left elbow - don't know what she was looking for but all the other midwives I asked about it said she was right about 90% of the time, she was Scotish, so I don't know if it was an old wive's tale that originated there or not.
I've ttried heaps of tests too more out of curiosity and they have told me many different things! Ring test - BOY,
Chinese Gender - Girl,
Weird Question tests (serveral) GIRL (though given in % rather than definite yes/no)
Everyone else's opinions - both! so many people say "I carried just like you it must be a ..... and they're always different! Can't wait to find out though!
I dreamt about having a little boy and felt like it was a little boy... But three u/s have said girl.
A friend of my mother's was pg with her second child. She went to the hospital for a check-up. While in the lift,it stoped (not at her floor) and a dr got on. He took one look at her and told her it's her second child and it is going to be a girl and she is not going to have any other children.
She was very shocked, because she did not know the guy. Well, turns out that her second child was a girl and it was her last one also - it's freeky!
