Ok. Does anyone have this one. My fanny is sooooooooooooooooo saw pretty much all the time now to the point panadol no longer works and I can barely walk for hours in a day. Its pretty much my entire crouch area that hurts. I had it a bit in the last pregnancy but not like this. I was gonna do all the ironing today but Im stuck on the lounge in pain once again.:crying:
It sounds like pressure pain to me sometimes fluid can build up in that area and i suggest that you get hubby to massage you just above the area below the belly start with slow outward movements either side which will help with fluid build up around the pelvis. dont use much pressure just slow rhythmic movement for about ten minutes.

Yep i had it last time.. and just as bad this time...perhaps worse. Walking hurts, but rolling in bed or getting out is another matter... feels like i need a crane!
I haven't had it constantly but the other day I jumped out of bed way too quickly and actually felt like I pulled a muscle down there. It hurt so bad and I could barely get in and out of bed. It's fine now though. My friend told me that all your muscles are relaxing and getting ready for birth so it's easier to injure yourself. Maybe you pulled a muscle without realising?

Is your fanny bone (pubic bone) sore when you press on it...if it is then the pain is probably SPD (synthesis pubis dysfunction) and you will get some relief if you see a physio who specialises in ante&postnatal treatment.
If not, it's a good enough excuse to rest when you need to and get right off your feet. Icepacks might help too. I'm feeling the same thing but also have the SPD so if it's not one hurting it's the other. Lucky for us we get a prize at the end :stork-boy: :stork-girl:!
I have this problem but mine is more the feeling of the pubic bones grinding together, Avoid steps, keep your leg's together avoid standing on one leg...sleep with a pillow between your knees.
doing all these might ease it slightly... but it's still a pain in the butt ok, well FRONT.

I have had similar pain, and have also had the horrible ginding and clicking noises when i roll over at night and stuff. I have been to the physio, and they have given me some exercises that will hopefully strengthen the musles around the pelvic bone and reduce the pain.

After the birth of my third baby (his now 12 mths old) I developed this...They called it pubis symphis...Its started around 18 wks and gradually got worse to the point that at 37 weeks i was in a wheel chair in hospital...Adventually at 38 wks they had to induce me...I proberbly had it very bad...I couldnt lift my leg or even move really, especially roll over...Lets just say also min's after giving birth it got even worse again....I never found physio worked or support belts either....I did find heat packs between your legs helped...Cold packs made mine worse....If i could just have heat all the time, without burning the babies head...Avoid lifting your legs...Sit down to get your pants on and drag them over over feet rather than lift the feet...rest as much as possible. Dont make any sharp turning movements, standing or liying down...In fact if you actually didnt move at all it would proberbly heal...ha ha however while you have that relaxin hormone it may not improve untill after you give birth....But finally after about 3 mths it slowly improved each day...I was out of the wheel chair within a week of giving birth, but still have problems today if i make any jerking movements....I put it down to lack of muscle support around my tummy area....But yes try heat packs (but not to hot) and massage too...
I have similar pain especially at night when I'm dying to go to the toliet. I'm 38 wks and due in 2 wks and sleeping now and turning in bed is a nightmare. I have that much pain down there and can't move without winching in pain. They say sleep with a pillow between your legs but I'd find that a bit uncomfortable. I truly can't wait for this baby to come because I have truly had enough.

Lowe- Sleep is a frigin nightmare and your right the pillow between the legs doesnt do anything. We just have to have our babies.
i have somthing similar, it's like an aching all the time and some times when i move in bed it can become sharper or when i move my leg in a certain way. The only way i can describe it is.. you know when you were younger and you got to ride a boys bike (with the bar straight across) and you fell off onto the bar and felt like your Fi Fi was bleeding and bruised(sp) thats what mine feels like all the time. i never new what it was, i just put it down to being something in 2nd pregnancy because everything is looser and bigger down there now... :P
