A newbie
Hi all,
What a wonderful site. It is so good to have so many people out there willing to help and chat with others.
Well I have been ttc for 2 years now, with 2 miscarriages, I am currently on metformin (insulin resistant) and pcos (not confirmed) and am currently going through a tracking cycle with Repromed in Adelaide.
I am so happy to be doing something positive towards conceiving as they wouldnt do anything for a long time as I have conceived and lost......
So positive thinking for the month and lots and lots of bd.

sryan...I have just had my mid-cycle scan with repromed this morning! Aren't the girls all just lovely there!
Lucky me (NOT) has short cycles so had my post af bloods done yesterday morning and was back again this morning for more bloods and my second scan. Don't you just love it...
It's great that you are ovulating. Who is your FS, we are seeing Dr Mudge.
Can you tell I am excited to find another repromed'er?
P.S you must have to get up damn early to get there being in Bridgewater...

Hi Heki,
Thanks for responding and the girls at Repromed are amazing. I have had quite a few chats with them and most of them have been in similar positions.
Good luck in your endeavours and I hope you have success soon.
I am seeing Prof Norman at Repromed, apparently very well known in his field (which is fantastic), though a friend of mine had Dr Mudge for both of her pregnancy's (before he went to Repromed) and said he was fantastic as well.
I am at 4 dpo and have my fingers crossed that we get a positive this month.
Everything so far with my tracking cycle has gone well, had two beautiful follicles growing, hormone levels are all correct etc etc. I catch up with Prof Norman on the 2 October to go through it all.
Living at Bridgewater takes me about 20 min to get to Repromed (so its not too bad) and then I normally head off to work which is at Brighton (though I am going the opposite way to the traffic). Where abouts do you live??

Sorry, we have only lived in Adelaide for about 3 and a half years and sometimes I get suburb locations mixed up in my head...I realised how silly what I had said was last night while driving up to Mount Barker. Excuse the blond moment. We live in Enfield, on the city side so not bad at all to get to Repromed, other than the Round-a-bout near the race course when it's a peak hour (haha peak hour in Adelaide) appointment.
We are really right at the start of our repromed journey. I am having my 3rd bloods for the week done in the morning to check that the follie that showed on my scan has done the right thing. To be honest we are waiting till we have the results of this tracking cycle before deciding whether to go ahead straight away or wait another 6 months. It's such a big step and I am halfway there. I think DH is ready to go straight to IVF whereas I am wanting to test the acupuncture first, which he thinks is a crock. I may end up coming around to his way of thinking but keep doing the acupuncture as well.
We go back to Dr Mudge on the 3rd to get our results, he helped a friend of mine become a mum and so came highly recommended.
My biggest issue is that I have short, but irregular cycles so it's almost impossible to pinpoint ovulation from one cycle to the next and that coupled with mild endo and a family history of infertility is a bit crap.
If you ever see someone in the waiting area knitting its probably me...
Fingers crossed we both have short sweet times at repromed...

Hi Heki
I will watch out for you.... we seem to be in similar times within the tracking cycle. I have an appointment with Prof Norman on the 2nd October to hear the results, though by what the ladies said to me all was looking good. We have just started with repromed and my dh and I have decided to keep trying until February and then we will try IVF. Though I am a lot older than you, so you have plenty of time.
Acupuncture is wonderful. I truly believe it can help. I was going to have acupuncture and decided to give it a rest until after the tracking cycle. But if I need to go down the IVF track, I will definately be going back.
Well fingers crossed that the tracking cycle works for both of us and we have success stories to tell at the end of September.....
Keep in touch
