Hi
Just wondering if it is worth investing in a cot that turns into a toddler bed and then into a full size bed? It comes with a chest of drawers with a top that you can use as a change table, and optional underbed drawers. Has anyone had any success with these? Some convertible cots don't have a higher setting for newborns, will this be a problem?

Not sure about whether it is worth it or not, but just wanted to let you know that we have a convertible cot and it does have 3 differnt height setting. including a high one for newborn.
It is a Boori one and we are borrrowing it from friends, but we have another on layby which is Love n Care brand and it also has diffierent heights.
Hi there, not sure how good it will be when it comes to the bed but we have a Boori one too & it's got the different levels which is great as we don't yet have to bend too far. We don't plan to have another bubs until DS is at least around 2ish so it will be good for getting him used to a bed without having to go out & buy one. As for the change table that is also a set of drawers, we have one, it's like a Tall Boy so to speak with change table on the top. If it's like that, I hate ours with an absolute passion. Bubs is 5months & almost too big for it!! it also can only go a certain way against the wall limiting where it can be put - I wish I hadn't wasted the money.
I would echo everything Erin said. The convertible Boori cot I have is great. The change table on top of the drawers is not. We're now going to have to go out and buy another change table.
i was looking at the same convert-a-cot too oscaroscar... i must say it looks pretty good. but for the price i could probably buy a nice cot and change table set and then buy a bed later. i think they were about $1000 all up.. i have been looking at gorgeous cot (converts to toddler bed), drawers with change table at toys r us for $600. then when baby old enough i can pick out a decent bed and mattress for less than the $400 difference IYKWIM. but i do think the convert-a-cot sets come with the matresses too which makes it better
