29 August 2007 - Patrick Robert has arrived.

Sorry it has taken so long for me to get this post out there. We got off to a rough start with our little'n. But now that all goes well I am pleased to announce the arrival of Patrick Robert Parry.
Patrick was born on Wednesday the 29th of August at 4.08pm. At the Women's and Childrens Hospital Adelaide. He weighed in at 3140g, or 7lb 8oz. He was 49cm long and had a head circumfrence of 34.5cm. Finally, at long last after a labour of 9 hours and 9 minutes. The 9 minutes was the second stage, lightning fast! And lucky Mum managed to get out of it without any cuts, tears or instruments for delivery! How on earth I managed to pass 7lb 8oz I'll never know.
Well, now you all know! Patrick is here and of course, he's beautiful.
