getting labour started
I'm on day off my due date and it feels as though nothing is happening and I'm getting fustrated. How long do we have to wait to see our bundle of joys? Does anyone have any suggestions how to bring labour on? Some have said go on a bumpy ride, tried that, be intimate, tried that, getting hot food, tried that. HELP I'M GOING OUT OF MY MIND. I think that I'm fustrated more with this pregnancy than my last because this pregnancy hasn't been the best and I know what to expect. Please help before I go out of my mind.

Jennifer, there are lots of different things to try but at the end of the day hun, if bub isn't ready it's not going to work.
You could try accupunture, or reflexology. Nipple stimulation may help too.
Are you drinking RLT(raspberry leaf tea) or using EPO (evening primrose oil) ?
You could even request a stretch and sweep at hospital. Like I said though. None of these things wil wrok unless your body is really ready to go anyway.

You poor thing i know how you are feeling i was the same with my DD. I was still been sick up until she was born and had been having loads of braxton hicks, generally i was over been pg and just wanted to meet my bub and start to feel better. At 40wks i had a SS and was told i was 2cm and prob would not last the weekend. I continued with the BH's, they'd come and go anywhere from 4 to 30mins apart and tried everything, nothing worked for me, i ended up been induced at 41+5 so 12 days past my EDD. I think your body and bub have to be ready. When i was induced i was 3.5 cms. I feel i was still not ready to have my DD as my induction failed and i ended with an emergency CS. This time around i am praying i will go naturally as my hospital will not induce me due to having a previous CS (i wouldnt let them anyway, i hated it)
Good luck and i hope you come naturally and sooner rather than later.
