Rotavirus vaccine & cloth nappies
Hi,
Amelie was vaccinated today and had the rotavirus vaccine, which is a live vaccine, and the illness can be transmitted through baby's poo. I have been told to handle the nappies with care and to wash my hands thoroughly afterwards. The nurse said to double bag my nappies, but I told her that I currently use cloth and would that be a problem? She said no, but I don't like the idea of these nappies hanging around for a couple of days until I do the next wash.
What are your thoughts? Should I go disposable for a while? If so, how long?
