Hi all
Just wondering if anyone could help me...
Im 8 weeks pg & in the last few days ive been getting slight cramping 'down there'. I no it might be nothing but it scares me coz i had a m/c a few months ago. I had a scan last week for EDD etc n the bub was fine. Has anyone else had this???

I got cramping after my m/c with DS. I was also 5wks pg when i lost mine so i know how apprehensive you are. Its the pits hey. Try not to stress about it is the best thing, easier said than done i know. You go to toilet always expecting to find that AF has come. Be positive and imaging getting fatter and fatter :D.
As far as i know the cramping is normal to an extent. But if in doubt, go to the Dr. Considering youve had an U/S and everything is ok is proof everything is fine. Just enjoy being pg.
Best of luck.

Hi there, I have also had cramping through most of my pregnancy but I think it is all due to stretching... I had spotting at 12 weeks and everything is fine now. Only 11 weeks to go. Good luck with everything!

If it's slight, I can't imagine it's anything bad, but who knows what goes on with our bodies when we're pregnant. ;) My first thought would be that it's your uterus stretching, and I remember about 9 weeks I had some slight crampy feelings and a teeeeensy bit of blood and figured that that was the placenta taking over.
Hope you're able to relax, and that everything's A-okay!

I have had cramping and period (like) pains throughout my pregnancy. I was also worried and my Dr just said with any pg you'll get all sorts of weird, wonderful and scary pains... so it all sounds normal to me.
I wish you all the best for a happy and healthy 9 months babi_gurl! Try to stay positive!

I think Becstar was concerned about cramping a few weeks ago - but turned out to be coming from the location where the placenta was. So all was /is good and healthy.

I had cramping for a week or so at about that time in my PG too! If you get any bleeding or the pain gets really bad, it'd check with your Dr! Good luck with you PG luv and try not to worry! :)

I have had a little bit of cramping. Just like little bit of period pain but nothing that actually hurts. Dr said that it was normal and it was just my uterus streching. He also said just remember you have a little baby growing inside you it is noraml to have little aches and pains occasionally.

Had cramping and bleeding but not together. Unless the cramping is agonising or accompanied by bleeding dr's didn't want to hear about it with me, but I haven't had a previous m/c. If you are worried though don't be afraid to go to the hospital especially with a previous m/c they will take it seriously, and if they don't demand to see someone who will.
