evaporation lines ...

i'm 7dp5dt = 12dpo - 2 blasto's - 1 hatched and 1 a compacting morulla hours from becoming a blasto ..

I tested the other day using Fortel extra and can't remember the other brand ... anyway 1 hour after i tested i looked and there was a faint 2nd line ...

yesterday i tested using Fortel Extra and Pregnosis ... nothing showed up straight away that i could see .. but 1/2 an hour later a 2nd line appeared on both .. and this morning both lines are still there ..

i did a first response test and it too is showing a faint 2nd line that showed up well after the time frame ...

i have ordered some 10miu today from ebay which should be here tomorrow ...

but what are the chances of getting evaporation lines on these tests ??? the lines are very faint but you can see them .....

Usually I would day to disregard a line that showed up after an hour or the next day.

It could be evap lines though I tested a feint +ve on 12dpo that I wasn't sure about. It got a bit darker everyday till I could be sure.

I'm sorry to say, but they all sound like evaps to me :(
I know its hard not to obsess over anything that may show up on HPT's, I am very guilty of it myself.

when i did the test at 4.30am this morning i couldn't tell if there was a line or not ... so i classed it as BFN ... however when i got up at 6.30 i checked again and there is a definately faint 2nd line ... you can even see it at arm's length ..

at the moment i am classing all the test's as BFN with evaporation lines .. when i get the 10miu tests tomorrow we'll see what happens ...

i know these things can screw with your head .. i've been doing this now since march 06 month after month .. and NOT once did i ever get an evaporation line .. hence why i'm confused as to why the test's i'm doing now .. which are the same brands i've always used .. even after a few hours didn't show any lines at all .. are now showing evaporation lines ...

the lines aren't grey in colour they are a very pale pale pink ... so beat's me .. but i'll keep testing .. it somehow keeps me sane and prepares me for the phone call 1 week today .........................

Can I just say I am a big discover test fan, Never let me down. However if you have a faint 2nd line appear it could mean you are as I think the hormone in your urine has to be there for it to show up. I have used the test twice with the faint 2nd line and have been pregnant both times. As for the line showing up later than 20mins this could be a fault of the product. Have a look at the packaging for the companys phone number/website and question them. Also you could wait 3-5 days and test again with a good brand test.

I think you might be onto something ;). I've never had a line after the time limit - when I've wanted one just to keep thee hope alive :lol:. Have you tried Confirm - they are pretty reliable and I've had a BFP at 8DPO.

well looks like it's all over ... they were evaporation lines .... which i suspected anyway ...

i'm now 9dp5dt = 14dpo using 10miu tests from ebay .. BFN ....

oh well well still have 9 to go ....... wish us luck for next year ...
