growing pains??
hi,
i know that this is going to sound really wierd, but my ovaries and tubes feel like they've been used as bungie cords and are quite painful. is this just normal pressure from the baby as i'm currently 29 1/2 weeks?
its just that i dont remember having these types of pains with my other 2 girls.
and is it ok to sleep on your back at this late stage in pregnancy?
thanks,

Hey Michelle
not sure about the bungie cords :D but remember that everything softens and stretches and this may be what you are feeling :)
re lying on your back...as long as you are not experiencing any symptoms when you do this, then that is fine...if you felt dizzy, nauseas and generally yuck then you simply wouldnt lay on your back ;) the reason why everyone says not to lay on your back: there is a major blood vessel that runs between the spine and the abdominal contents (and the pregnant uterus) and when the pregnant uterus reaches a certain size this can apply pressure to the blood vessel, reducing oxygenated blood to your body...causing the above symptoms
you may find around 30ish weeks it is no longer comfy to lay on your back
