Finally

I'm one day over and i had a checkup with my ob today. She said i'm a good 3cm dilated and my cervix is soft and ready to go. She did a bit of a stretch and i've been feeling pretty crap since then (nauseas and some little pains). She also booked me in to get induced on tuesday if bub doesn't make his arrival before then but doesn't expect i will last till tuesday. I'm soooo excited that i'm finally going to meet my new little man! I've been sick all week and my pelvis is giving me hell (as i talked about in my last thread) so it will be such a relief for him to be out. But i am nervous too... the pain! Not only that but my DH is at work so i'm paranoid im going to go into labour with only my 3 1/2yr old here!!! He can come home if it happens but he's 30mins away and my ob is guessing it will only be about a 2hr labour. So yeah, gotta stress about something!
Just had to post this on here cause i'm in a bit of a daze that i'm finally going to meet bubble! Thinking back now the pregnancy went quick, ofcourse didnt think that at the time! :dance: :D

Wow that's great news! Hopefully your little bubble will arrive in a nice and convenient way, just as your DH gets home from work :D Doesn't always happen that way, but positive thinking is good heh heh. Good luck with it all, the pain will be over before you know it!

great news. how exciting! im very envious of you - i still have 9 weeks to go and it feels like an eternity.

It will go fast beccas trust me!!! i thought it was an eternity but now i'm at the end i can't believe how quick it went!! and all i can think now is 'this house is a mess!' (it really is, im not very mobile and DH has been at work most of the week so its a bit of a pigsty)

Great news. I really envy you. Hope everything goes well and fast for you. Let us know when you're holding your bub in your arms!

Still no labour but im getting lots of prelabour pains- just like period pains and my tummy goes really hard. Also i lost my mucous plug this morning it was exciting cause that didnt happen with my first! LOL Anyway fingers crossed i dont have to be induced, come on baby!!! I'll keep u informed of any progress....

Thanks!!! I'm still getting the period pains and starting to stress that it may be more than that! My DH is at work til 11pm! Can't imagine my 3yr old delivering his brother LOL

Just an update to let u all know i had my little boy, Isaac Mark, on monday 1st october at 12:43pm. I'll be posting my birth story soon.
