toy-swap with mums group

i sugessted tiday at mums group that we should do a toy swap, everyone said it sounded like a good idea but we didnt really do anything about it, i was thinking i might ring the girls before next week and see if the want to bring some toys. i thought like 5 toys each, in a bag, we could write a list of the 5 toys we brang from home, smwap bags, and write on the list somethign like 'my toys have been played with by....' and each week or 2 weeks we could bring them a ll again, and swap amongst ourselves again.

sound slike a good idea to me, has anyone else done this before?

i havent, but i had the same idea recently! we havent implemented it though. we also thought about doing the same thing with books (as i am VERY sick of reading the same books over and over!)

i think you just need to come up with a rule for your mother's group about broken or lost toys.... ie, what if you lost or broke one of the other mum's toys? decide whether you have to replace or its just a case of 'oh well dont worry about it'
