Hey there....I'm organising playgroup songs this week & our theme is In the Garden.... any suggestions?
Here we go round the mulberry bush...
Eensy Weensy spider...
Gahlump went the little green frog...
will keep thinking of some more! let me know if you need any lyrics as well...
ring a ring a rosey
i'll try and think of more
It's a bit of a stretch, but "oranges and lemons, say the bells of St Clement's"?
"swinging on my new playgym" (Peter Combe song I remember vaguely)
"kookaburra sits in the old gum tree"
umm... that's all I can think of for now!
... Round and round the garden (like a teddy-bear)
... Shoo fly, don't bother me
... Butterflies (Wiggles song)
... Mr Frog jumped out of his pond one day
... Here comes a bear (Wiggles)
... Wiggle woo (There's a worm at the bottom of the garden)
That's all I can think of for now.
~We are going on a bear hunt (you could pretend around the garden, and use the obstacles in the garden as the obstacles if that makes sense)
~5 little ducks went out one day (I can still remember singing this to ris & Paris with Kel in the car as they were synchronized cryers LOL)
~Mulberry Bush
~Mary had a little lamb
~Lavenders Blue
~Little Bo Peep
~You are my sunshine (this is one of Paris' fave)
Thats all I can think of for now...most of them are "outdoorsey songs" but only a few are garden songs iykwim.
*hugs*

Hehehe I heard a song yesterday - Kermit the Frog ~ Who let the frogs out!!!! To the tune of the Who let the dogs out song, it was very funny!
Mary Mary, quite contrary.....
This is great! Thanks guys, if you have any more keep them coming!! I'm getting a great day planned :D
All done now whew.... took a bit of time because I'm a bit anal LOL not like half of them won't be doing something else because its hard to keep them focused lol....
But I've got a great craft too which is good.... We have pipe cleaners & I'm tying a know in the top of them & threading pedals on there so they make a flower then knotting below the petals. As the majority of children are 15mnths to 2 years I thought this might not be too hard LOL
