Hi, i had a baby 17 weeks ago and since then my skin on my face has been so dry and flaky and tight i cant stand it.. today i look a bit blothcy aswell ....moisteriser dosnt seem to do anything .. my face feels terrible..
Is it hormonal its only been since i gave birth - i also had some excema straight after the birth on my legs which i have never had before.
I still have this happening :( I know how you feel! I try to remember to put moisturiser on after my bath EVERY night and then again in the morning as well. I look in the mirror and my skin looks soooooo dry and gross that it looks tired if that makes sense. I have had blotches particularly on my forehead. I don't have any advice but I do know how it feels.
I have been getting dry skin on my face too, its not very noticable to look at but feels horrible. I find it is worse after showering so i mosturise after every shower/bath and try to put it on every morning. Not that its really making much difference :(
It could be hormonal...Im not really sure.
I dont have any advice either, but was told to just ask my GP about it next time im there.

ha ha yeah it looks tired.... and feels like youve been sunburnt , i actually have just tried that Moogoo stuff for babys scalp and face and my face feels so much better... hopefully it clears it self up i cant stand the feeling....
I've had this throughout my pregnancy - on my hands, face, thighs, butt, arms, legs - sigh!!!! Dr told me to start showering with sorbolene instead of body wash, then cover myself with sorbolene after showering. I only tried this a couple of times - didn't like being so greasy!
Now I'm just showering with either Dove Bodywash or QV wash, not that I think either of them help! I'm just riding it out & hoping that hormones will sort themselves out eventually.
