Over-sleep and snacking
Just last week, Jensen has decided to sleep more, and eat more. He'll sleep, feed, sleep, snack, maybe have a bit of awake time, feed, sleep etc - I'm sure you get the picture. It mainly seems to be in the mornings. I've been told that it might be a growth spurt, but I was always under the impression that a growth spurt produced a monster child, just for the duration of the spurt. He's about 6wks old, I can never gauge exactly how old, not sure how to count it properly. He'll be 2mths on the 18th if that helps. Don't get me wrong, I love the sleeps, I get more done, and the feeds, I get to spend time with him. But he wont let me leave him when he's awake.
Any ideas?

hi there scone - Noah is also going thru a similar stage where he wont go to sleep after the 5am ish feed, he just wants to be awake but it is like he doesnt know how to play etc so he gets frustrated and wants to be held, cuddled etc the whole time - this is all morning til about 10 or 11am! he is feeding quite a bit (2 hrly during the day) and is quite hard to settle, i have also been told this could be a growth spurt (he is just on 3 wks old).
I am thinking it can also be that he is waking up to the world - he knows he wants to explore, see things, do things but he cant...
sorry no help here but i am in the same boat!!
