Your favourite wipes
Just interested in finding out what your favourite baby wipes are. I've been using a variety that my mum bought me, I like the Target wipes for there thickness but its not quite wet enough for my liking. And I like the Amcal brand for the wettness but not the thickness.
-
Huggies are great for the thickness, but i find J&J are wetter. I use the Huggies. My mother in law just gave me a travel pack of swisper baby wipes, have to see how they go. I guess it is just trial and error until you find the wipes that suit your babies needs.

I like Huggies wipes, we don't use their nappies, but love their wipes!
-
I use cloth wipes atm I have the cloth & just wet with warm water... best by far.
-
Gosh, I'm too lazy to use cloth ones Christy LOL. I swear by the huggies ones - great thickness and I don't like them too wet either. The swissper ones I found to be too thin and too wet. And wet ones - forget it - you need to use half the packet to clean a good size poo LOL.

I use seventh generation. They are a bit pricey but are chlorine free and nice and wet. I love them. I have tried others but always go back.
-
i only use cloth as sophie has decided to react to normal wipes
-
I like Curash, mainly because they don't seem to sting like the others if you wipe them on your face. I just think if they sting my face, they must sting other bits.
-
Johnson & Johnson unscented wipes. They used to hand out small packs of these in the hospital Special Care nursery. I've tried various others but keep coming back to them; they are good packs to keep in your handbag and they aren't too wet and don't seem to bother skin.
-
I love Target wipes too, I like that they are thinner, but they are quite wet and you can use more because they are cheaper KWIM? I don't know why but Huggies I think are just too thick, I would prefer to use more of the thinner ones.
I have never heard of 7th generation?

Aldi 'mamia' ones are pretty good. They are thick and reasonably cheap. The only thing I'd say is they could be a bit wetter, but it's not really that much of an issue for us.

I used Johnson & Johnson wipes on my older children... but they seem to burn Harrisons skin, so I have tried many others.
The ones we really like are called "Little Angel" and they were fairly cheap from Big W. They are the perfect thickness, are wet enough without being too wet, and best of all, they don't hurt Harrison!!!

Another cloth wipe user here too although I have only recently converted. I wish I'd seen the light a long time ago though, apart from the money saving they are SO much easier to use. I always found the disposable wipes a PITA but never realised how much better the cloth ones are.

I use cloth and warm water when I am at home... I find this the best for his skin and it is quite easy.
When i am out I either use cloth (if I can) or I have a small travel pack of Huggies atm that I use (have only done this twice so far). We just have a huge pile of face washers that I use for wipes, also for little milk spills etc and I put one over him when I am chging him to avoid the baby boy 'spray' all over me and the walls.
If you think that cloth ones are too much hassle (washing etc, though I must say I dont find it hard, I just throw them in the wash each day) - then a friend buys the little cotton pads that we use to take off makeup and dips that in water and uses that instead of wipes... another alternative if you dont want to use the wipes with chemicals etc.

My favs on my sensitive boys skin (apart from face washers and warm water, or tisesues with J&J baby lotion on them) are Huggies Extra Sensitive, love their thickness, but i do like the wetness of the J&J unscented ones too.

I like Huggies - either unscented or the new Shea butter smell nice, and are nice and thick!

We use Johnson & Johnson unscented wipes.
