Pimples

Hi - my little one has heaps of pimples on her face and upper chest and even her ears - I've been told this is normal. Is it? When wl they go? I am seeing my nurse this week so I can ask her but I just thought I would check.

It is normal. Sometimes they are called milk pimples. It can take a few weeks to go though but the length of time they have them can vary heaps from one baby to another. and they look yuck in photos LOL, but the time passs pretty quickly.

Yup my little Mackenzie got them from about 4 weeks till about 6 weeks, they were aweful .. she looked like she had the measles! I believe they are caused my hormones in the breast milk. Are you b/f?

They look terrible but should go away by 8 weeks.

Tip: If you take photos from far away you can't see them as much! :)

Yes, they are little zitty creatures.

Daniel's completely went away at about 4 months. They do come back, though - in about 12 years. I've heard they accompany an interesting attitude swing.

Yes it is normal, & I know they don't look that great. But as everyone has said they do pass, however some don't do so until around the 6months mark. Charlie has some pimples still (not many) but also bad blackheads & I'm told they will go around 6months which is has just turned now.
