Is it like he's talking or just vocalising? If it's just vocalising I think it would be normal. My DD yells and talks in different pitches most of the day, though not at the top of her lungs...maybe your little man has just discovered he can do it and is kinda chuffed with himself?
Hee hee - Izzy went through a screeching/yelling phase for about 2 weeks - it was non-stop when she was awake - while changing nappies, playing etc and it literally hurt my ears! Its like they have discovered their voice I guess and are experimenting and like Kellie said - they do get pretty proud of themselves while they do it!
Yep sounds like your little man has discovered his voice :)
It makes me laugh sometimes it is so funny to watch him doing it.. yep i was thinking he has realised he cn yell so he does..
And yeah he screeches like a banshee ..
He yells so loud you cant hear the TV.. hehehehehehe
Yeah i have to agree with the other gals. Josh went through the same thing, its so funny you cant wait for them to start being more vocal and now all we want to do is tell them to shut up! lol.
Yep. Daniel yells until a vein in his forehead shows.
He thoroughly enjoys yelling and has since he was about 4 months old. It's very normal.
Nic went through a stage like this at about 4 months as well. Not crying, but actually yelling! And he is VERY loud!!
Charlie just recently stopped doing this, yes it tends to be very annoying, but they are finding their voices & very happy with themselves. So you can't be mad at them. And PMSL....I know what you mean about not hearing the telly, he,he. We'd always be like "what was that?"..."Oh Charlie, please be quiet"!! And at 6am in the morn, oh far out.
PMSL at the 6am :cryinglaugh: Oscar has just started to find his voice too and his favourite time to *talk* is at 6am. And it keeps getting earlier. And louder :D
We were in the DR surgery and all you have to do is smile at him and he starts ... and i smiled at him (dad was holding him) and he started to smile back and began yelling... I got in trouble from DP .... hehehe is was funny tho.... .. And yeah when you are all grumpy and frustrated and they look at you and smile at like 3am you melt dont you....
I love it when Daniel is yelling. It just absolutely cracks me up. soooooooooooo much effort in it.
It would be nice to go through life with such abandon.
Moving this to Baby & Toddler General Discussion.
Oscar has started to do this too. Mainly when he is in his cot or something and he doesn't want to be.... he will start yelling to tell me he's not happy!! It's so cute!
Hi Meegm!
Yes Lewis has started it aswell this week and definitely at 6am when he has just woken up! I had to leave the room the other day to take a phone call :D
Hahaha its cute but annoying... The other day i was walking around the shopping centre and he just was holding his feet yelling his head off - i just walked along like "its not my baby making that noise" heheheheeh The butcher killed himself laughing......
Yeh Jesse did this too.. sometimes still does. Like the others have said, its just them discovering their voice. Just let them go. I use to wonder what the neighbours would think but then just laugh it off.
