Mini pill & libido TMI

Hello everyone,
I have been prescribed with the minipill by my ob. I'm 8 weeks post birth and breastfeeding. I haven't got the pill yet as I heard that mini pill has negative effect on libido so I'm afraid taking it and so far no action on DHD:redface:). My libido is low as it is, even before pregnancy :( . If it's true that minipill will lower libido, then it will make things worse for me :cry:

I would love to hear from any of you of your experience with the minipill. Does it have any effect on you?

The normal pill lowers my libido. Don't remember very much bout the minipill, but I have implanon which is the same hormone as minipill and my libido is back to normal, which is still quite low. HTH!

I had no problems with the mini pill, if anything I had a higher libido while I was on it. But why not just give it a go. If your libido drops then stop taking it and try something else.
