27 October 2007 - Baby is here - Finally.
Baby Immi has arrived!!
Born Saturday 3.34 am
Weighing 9lb2 and 52 cm long
Natural Labour of 1 1/2 hours
Mum and Baby recovering well at home within 6 hours.
What I’ve learnt:
Happy I waited and chose not to induce.
Proven that walking for 3 hours will bring on labour.
The second baby comes quicker so don’t wait around drinking tea with the family celebrating thinking you have hours up your sleeve.
And Certainly don’t then go to McDonalds for chips and hang about enjoying them before heading to the hospital.
Public Car Parks are not open late at night so illegal parking in loading zones sometimes necessary.
Short labours are just a normal labour compressed and intensified.. OUCH!
