Face scratching
My 4m old has scratched at her face from birth but it has gradually become what seems to be a habit more than anything. She is especially bad when waking between cycles, pulling at her hair and eyes, and when tired. This wakes her up even more so she only has naps of one cycle. Any ideas to stop the habit would be very welcome.

Can you put little mittens over her hands...I used to have a pair for Aidyn when he did this. Or wrap her hands in against her body when sleeping maybe?

I have mittens but they don't stop the action, just the scratch itself. As for the wrapping, she has hated that since birth so it's not an option either really, but thanks for answering anyway :)

Hi Sacha, sorry I don't have any suggestions, but my DD used to scratch her face all the time too. Now she doesn't scratch her face anymore, but her chest is red-raw from her scratching there. If your DD is like mine, she will grow out of waking herself. I know this doesn't help you for now, though, sorry!

If you dont have those built in mittens that come with some body suits, use socks! Thats what we did with jesse as we couldnt find any mitten at the time to buy, plus saves you buying them.
