early internal scans - are they dangerous?

Hello Everyone - just want to ask a quick question - does anyone know if a early scan done internally is dangerous? can it cause any problems - last time after my first scan - which was meant to be at 8wks but was found out i was only about 6wks i ended up having some abdo pain - and the bub stopped growing a few days later and i MC a week later - this time my obstertician wants to see me again on the 26th of november - and im worried that the scan may of had something to do with MC! i dont want it too happen again!

Personally I don't think so. I have had internal scans with my 4 successful pregnancies. I have had 2 losses and the only reason for internal scans with those was to confirm the loss

I had an internal scan yesterday (and I'm 6w+4d) and the doctor said that it wouldn't cause a m/c. I asked because that was what I was concerned about as well!

Millsy7 - do u have any pain in your abdo after scan? last time i got kinda like stabbing pain - but nothing too bad - and a few days later i MC!!
Congrats on being preg - i hope you have a healthy pregnancy - when is your next scan?

Okay - so they cant cause a MC?

i will go for my scan on the 26th - i guess if im going to MC again there is nothing i can do about it anyway!
