Can anyone tell me where I can find a supplier of the tea leafs, rather than the tablets in Perth?
I want to start taking the tea next weekend when I hit 30weeks.

Clare,
I know some supermarkets stock it in the health food isle, a pharmacy may also be able to order you some in. You might be able to order some online from somewhere if you do a search on google.
It's safe to take from 12 weeks so you can start now if you like.
Hi Clare,
Bec was kind enough to post hers to me a while back and i have it still. i am now having a c/section so wont be needing it. if you email your postal address i will post it to you if you like.
I know in melbourne that most health food shops, and Safeway/Woolies tend to sell it in the health food section. The health food shops can probably get it in if you ask.
I was going to start taking this in a few weeks time... is there a time that's too early to start? I don't want to bring anything on too soon! 8-[
Also... I'm not really a fan of the tea so do the tablets do the same job?
Sorry to hijack your thread, Clare! O:)
CharleyGirl.........you'd be safe to take it from now, no problems.
I always take the tea, but I believe that the tablets are as good?
You can buy the tablets from health food shops, and the tea bags from Coles or Woolies in the healthfood section.
Thank you!! *off to chemist now!*
umm.... can I ask what the tea does? I was under the impression that it brought on labour... but if you're saying it can be taken from early on... what's it for?
It doesn't bring on labour so much as tone the uterus ready for labour, if that makes sense?
hehe.. I made it sound like an alternative to being induced didn't I? I just remember something somewhere deep down in my brain that I read to avoid it early on because of that. hmm... sounds interesting... I shall go do some research :) Thanks!
i think people with high risk pgs are actually advised to avoid it early in pg, so it may assist in bringing on labour in large quantities,
