PCOS Dietician
I am looking for a specialist PCOS dietician or some really good books to assist me with my PCOS symptoms. I have the PCOS Diet Book and have read it, but think I need something more.
I have just stopped taking anti depression meds as want to go more natural, but don't really know where to start.
Feeling really fat (look 5 months pregnantsome days), down (can't stop crying), ugly (as you would when you can't lose weight), and feel like I am hitting my head against a brick wall. :wall:
I am in the Western Sydney area
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
Help....

Leanne, I see David Knight at Next Generation Fertility. While he is primarily a fertility specialist, he is very good at treating PCOS. He put me on a low-GI, low-carb, high-protein diet for a while. For four weeks I had to record everything I ate into a website... At our next appointment he checked what I'd done over every day of those four weeks, gave me a stern lecture about not exercising enough, but I'd lost nearly 5kg in those 4 weeks. If you're not keen on seeing him, I can at least send you some of the information he gave me to see if that will help you.

Thank you that would be great. I have been trying to lose weight for what seems like my whole life, and it seems to be going the other way....

Leanne, there's an email with a word document attached headed your way :)

Hi BW, that sounds interesting ... do you mind sending it to me as well. If you need my email address I can PM you!
Cheers
Mon :)

Sure thing, Mon. PM me your email address.
And Leanne, if you come back to this thread - the email kept giving me undeliverable messages, but they said I didn't need to resend it. I don't know what's going on, but if you don't have it, can you PM me with another email address for yourself? The one in your profile didn't work out so well.
