I have been avoiding salad dressing and mayonnaise because of the raw egg, but if it is prepackaged salad dressing does that mean it is safe to eat? I got to thinking after reading that soft cheeses are ok if they're prepackaged in Australia.
I'd kill for a caeser salad!
Soft cheeses are ok because australian cheeses have to be made from pasturised milk. But I don't think there is a similar process for eggs. It's really only if there is a salmonela problem. I haven't heard about any salmonela problems in aust for years!
I may be wrong, so, some one please correct me if I am wrong.
