Who prescribes your Met?
My GP has prescribed Met for me and to his own admittance doesn't know alot about it. Not sure whether to give my Gyno a call and make an appointment or ask whether he knows more. Or do I ring an Endocrinoligist who treated my GD??? I am confused!

My gyno did, and once I had my recommended prescription I would just refill it with my GP. I would go over it with either of the specialists you've mentioned. Being used as a fertility drug, most gyno's prefer to be the one's to give the initial dosage iykwim?
*hugs*

My GP did when i was to use it to control my insulin resistance and to try and loose some weight - you could try your specialist or endocrinologist if you think that they may be able to help...

I'd be wanting to double check the dosage prescribed if the GP admits he doesn't know a lot about it. There are a lot of different dosages that some of the girls here are prescribed. I only took 2 x 500mg tablets per day, but some ppl take 3 or more.
If you do have a OB/GYN it might be worth giving them a call.
PS. hope the met works for you!!
