late ovulation

hi

Im just wondering if someone out there knows if its healthy to conceive
when ur cycle is atleast 40days in length.

this month my temps stayed below 36.4 till day 29 of my cycle. I'm on
day 31 now and it has only just risen to 36.7.

I read somewhere that ur most likely to miscarry or have abnormalities
if you conceive with such late ovulation. Does anyone know if this is
true?

We have been trying to conceive for 3mths but i have only been off the
pill for 3mths also so its hard to say what is normal for me. Should we
stop trying until i ovulate earlier in the cylce?

Any advice would be great. ;-)

Just moving to the Conception forum.

It's not really how long the cycle is that is a problem but how long the luteal phase is. If the time from when you O to when you get AF is 12 days or longer you shouldn't have any issues.

I don't think having a long cycle matters, Just the LP length as satya said!
