So i was just wondering does the ring test( where you put your wedding band on a piece of your hair and hang it over your belly) work this way ?
Boy its side to side
and girls round and round
or is it the other way around i looked on a few sites but some say this way and other say the other way..
Just curious did this last night and it went around and around like i have never seen before.

I think you have to "tune it in" to male or female first. See what it does when you hold it over Cody.
I thought it was circle=girl, straight=boy. BUT with Jett it was the opposite. I think you have to "tune" it in first. Thats what i will be doing this time.

This didn't work for me - I already have a boy, and I got straight lines, then a stop, then circles. But just found out we're having another boy, so should have been lines again.

i think its a load of crud , but it sure is fun testing old wives tales ..
my mum told me when babies are bending over with their head on the ground , (their legs are straight like a triangle and head and hands are on the floor .. you know what i mean )
and way when they do that apparently it means they want a little sister or brother .. and sure enough after nix statrted to do it , a week later i found out i was UTD !!!
oh yeah its only for fun i know that. Really lachlan has been doing that too for a while though how interesting.
I heard a really good one that if you are carrying a girl you are twice as mooding during pregnancy as you have a female inside you as well,

A funny thing i was at a shopping centre with my sister and we were outside so she could have a smoke and a gull pooped on her. Either she was gunna have good luck or someone was pregnant. Looks like i was UTD. LOL it was so funny. sorry got a bit side tracked. Have you done the ring test yet?
Yer, Boy its side to side and girls round and round. It worked for us. I don't think I would rely on it but.
i know this is a old thread but MIL has always done circles =girl and side to side =boy and has always been right
