Hi Natasha. I was a Registered Nurse for 16 years and after seeing a few little things, decided to start studying law, and worked in a legal office. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I started temping. If you find a great agency, you will always have work. The agency I work for always has a job for me to go to. Even though you do not get holiday pay or sick pay, usually the pay more than makes up for it.
However, in April I started a working from home business promoting non toxic chemical free products. For the first time in 16 years I could afford to have the last school holidays off work with my children. By Christmas, I will be giving up the temping, and working from home, and scheduling my work around my business - finally doing what is right and spending more time with my kids, whilst still having a good income.
