can you feel your uterus
I am 9 weeks on Tuesday and this is my 4th child.
When I lay down and feel my belly, I can feel a firm mass that I think is my uterus above my pelvic bone. I cannot remember feeling this with other pg. this early. Can anyone shed some light.
Should I be concerned that it night be a growth?
Thanks

It could be your uterus. Normally until abot the 12-13wk mark the uterus is tucked nicely in behind the pelvic bone, but after that it starts to pop out above it, but with subsequent pgs it can happen earlier. Have you had a dating scan at all yet? If you haven't, they would be able to see if it is a growth or not, but I would say that it's just your uterus.

I could feel mine at around 9 or 10 weeks I think, but only when I was standing.

Hi Rose,
Thanks for asking this question!!
I was 9 weeks yesturday, this is my first child..and I can feel a hard lump in the same place you described where you can feel yours. Now I'm thinking that with some this could be somewhat normal...

When I was pregnant I definitely felt what you are describing too! At about 11ish weeks I could feel my uterus- a firm little lump.

Ok, I have read my past pg baby books and had drs appointment at 10wk with one baby and the Dr measured fundal height 14cm So I believe it has to be my uterus, if she could measure that at 10weeks. I also think I can feel some very feint movements too. I hope it's not me just wishing although I read on here someone felt their baby at 8wks. My last one I felt at 12 weeks.
