Hi georgette-
I'm now 21 weeks and have the same problem not daily but every now and then...
My nipples are very sore cant touch them and they hurt in certain bras (must be the material)
As for the actuall boob being itchy i put it down to my boobs betting bigger and possibly the skin stretching... It happens to preg women on their tummys so i thought it may be like that... Have they gotten bigger or getting bigger??? If so i would put it sown to that...
R u massaging any cram into them like vitamin e or sorbalene, i was told to do that all over my body to keep the skin from getting stretch marks, although i didn it with my first and still got stretch marks it help with the itching and keeps the skin solft and supple...

From what i gather it may be your breasts stretching to accomodate the milk?? I know mine are huge already and im only a week and a bit behind you, they are that bad im growing out of my maternity bras already. They do get itchy and thats what i put it down too...
Maybe someone else knows something more... sorry if im not much help! Goodluck with the rest of your pregnancy..

Thanks for you replies, i think you are both right, i have actually gone from my regular uk C cup to a UK F cup. i have been rubbing in baby oil on my belly, hips, thighs and breast since i found out i was pg, which was recommended by mothers i know.
So i think you are right its prob down to growing.
thanks

OMG the itchy!! YES!! I have been getting this (unfortunately at work I don't have my own office with a door I can close, I'm on reception and I'm always itchiest when I can't scratch!). I haven't gone to a maternity bra yet, still wearing my underwire because it's not uncomfortable yet, but yeah, I just assumed it was the fabric of the bra or something? But growing makes sense I guess.
Glad I'm not the only one!

I'm scratching mine like an old man scratches his crotch! My husband thinks its hilarious.

Yep I've got it too, but for me it's not stretching as my BBs have not got any bigger. Mine comes and goes.
