I think if they have not been treated that there IS a risk for the baby.... my XBF's mum works for a sexual health clinic I will try & ask her...
If you are concerned I would deffinatley see your GP...
Thanks Brookey for your response.

Julie,
i have heard that its fine during pregnancy, the only time that you need to worry is if you are having an outbreak during labour as you can transmit the infection to the baby.
im not sure if this is right but i would really like to find out about it as its worrying me too.
Hi Julie
Genital warts may get larger during pregnancy, making it difficult to urinate. If the warts are in the vagina or on the cervix, they can make the vagina less elastic and cause obstruction during delivery. Warts can be passed on to the baby at birth. It is uncommon but possible for infants born to women with genital warts develop warts in their throats. This is a potentially life-threatening condition for the child, requiring frequent laser surgery to prevent obstruction of the breathing passages. Genital warts can be treated in a number of ways. Your Doctor can suggest the best treatment for you.
Wow Alan isnt it awesome having you on here!! ;)
Thank you Pietta
I had one develop while I was pregnant - and it disappeared soon after.
Sadly - I had no idea what it was - until the day I was in labour!!!
And I had no futher problems.
