Notes: Born 3 weeks early (by induction) born 7lb 15.5oz (3.61kg) had o2 (wasnt breathing due to cord being wrapped around his throat, and strangled him when i birthed) become severely jaundiced, but not enough to be readmitted. had a little bit of trouble sucking, but it corrected itself. Is now about 9kg, giggling, reacting to noices and smiles

Hey all... sorry I haven't posted in ages... I really can't be bothered 8-[ We had Alecia's 13th a couple of weeks ago... I now am the parent of a teenager.

Emily's birthday was over the weekend, she had a ball! Loved blowing out candles. Her latest thing is Ernie (off sesame street) she LOVES him!

Violet is doing well... getting about everywhere... prob is she can't go fast enough and lays on her belly with er arms and legs flapping while she cracks 'em. Hse drinks quite confidently out of a straw, which I am happy about. Wato fed her from a staw when Alecia and I went to see Simple PLan and I quite often give her water. She loves her sister and cracks up laughing at her all the time... sooo cute!

We have some lizard eggs too... not sure how viable they are but we'll wait and see. I have had these two lizards paired up for a few years now and these are the first eggs she has laid... I was beginning to think they were gay!

I told Wato I wanted to break up... I am just so tired of a loveless relationship... we may as well be just roomies... neway more about that later.

I see everone is doing well...

Zola, when are you ttc again?? you must be just about ready? Great to hear Bas is going so well.

Nat, sounds like Jacob is also doing well! Yay on him holding his own bottle... good for a break.

Deb, that is great that Gab is a go newhere girl. It makes life al ot easier when they don't have trouble sleeping.

Tanya...sorry to hear that things aren't going so well with Wato. I hope that he decides to make an effort to woo you back with flowers and romance. I had to laugh at the gay lizards... hopefully the eggs will hatch though and you'll have a few more. I know how much you love your animals and I was sorry to hear about Jorge. It must be scary to be the mother of a teenager!! But at least it wasn't that long ago for you that you won't be able to remember how crappy it was! Big hugs sweets, and I hope that things pick up for you soon. And yes.. we will be ttc again in December!! Arrghhh!!!!

Tanya - sorry to hear things aren't going well on the home front. I was like that with my XH as well - we were better friends than lovers (which sounds corny....) The problem with us though is we also fought like cats and dogs, and I didn't have much respect for his family. So after all that, we split up, but in saying that, if you can work through the love thing, you guys have alot more going for you than me and XH. Like two gorgeous girls for starters! Wow being mum to a teenager!!! Scary huh? I'm still coming to terms with the idea of her first birthday. We will be doing an icecream cake that she has to eat herself!!!
Anyway - good luck with Wato - hopefully you guys can work something out, and get the love back.

Deb - sounds like you had fun. I hope you guys are all up for the Thrusday picnic!!!!! I am really looking forward to it. I think I might walk down if the weather is good. Angela and Bec - you guys OK with the arrangements?

Nat - Great to see you around. HOpefully you pop your head in a little more too. Bubby boy sounds very cute witht he rolling. Jenna does the same, and gets herself into all sorts of trouble. The rocking is funny too. Shane jokes she has been watching mum and dad in the bedroom too much. we must mover her into her own room.

Everyone else - hope all is well.

We have a nasty cold here. Poor miss isn't sleeping well at all, we are about to walk up to the pharmacy and get something to clear her nose so she can sleep. She has big bags under her eyes!! And its also Shane's mum's anniversary for passing away, so up to the cemetary too. And the vege shop!
We got a letter from Shane's daughter this morning saying quite alot of personal stuff to jenna. She said she had hated her when she was born, cause she felt replaced, but now she knows its not Jenna's fault. Hmmm - whose fault is it then? We've written a nice letter back as we are not able to call (intervention order and all....) so hopefulyl it will be well received.
Also dentist this morning and no problems there! Hooray!

We had swimming yesterday & Zander was a bit better than the week before. On the 1... 2... before they get dunked he has a bit of a whinge but on the 3... he closes his eys and mouth! He obviously knows what's coming & it's very cute.

He's also discovered that the house is bigger than the loungeroom!! I was making dinner on Monday night & Aaron called me out to see what Zander was doing. I started to go down the hallway & there he was - he'd come out of the lounge, across the entry & halfway down the hall!! No stopping him now.

We're still have at least a once a night wakeup call - generally about 1-2am, other than that, sleep is definately improving in this house \:D/

Sarah:Yah on the travelling man..they get so independant so quick, As for the anniversary it was nice. Dinner and roses he also got my eternity ring fixed as it had to be cut off one night when I was pregnant with something out of the shed, Nick thought he did a good job to cut away from the diamonds not too sure what the jewler thought of his DIY adjustments.

PMSL Bec - I dont think I could let Shane cut anything off my hands!!!! You must trust him very much.

We had a shocking night. had to take it in turns as little mss cannot lie down normally. She gets so snotty, and the demazin isn't helping at all. We got some fess drops today, so hopefully that will make a difference. Isn't it horrible when they are sick! This is her first time, hopefullt it wont continue.

Sarah - thats great on the wake-ups!! Once a night is a breeze compared to what you have been used to. Hopefully it continues.

Nell - how cute on Matthew standing up. Is he pulling himself up? Jenna is almost sitting up by herself.

I just umpired my first two games of netball. It was very strange, and I made so many mistakes!! I also got paid $16!! Woohoo!!! And now I'm offr to swimming lessons, so its never a dull moment here.

Zola - woah! Slow down girl.. don't post toooo much ;) j/k Hope you managed to get Bas to sleep. You're right, I didn't get much of a look-in while at Mum's. Between her and my 3 sisters, it's a nice break for me when they are around. They all jump to give her a bottle, change her nappy, bathe her, play with her - all the stuff that I get sick of very quickly, LOL.

Fi - awwwww poor Miss Jenna with her first cold :( It sux big time! Hope the fess works. Gabby hates it but it does make all that real gunky snot come out (mmm... snot!). Very interesting letter from Shane's daughter by the sounds of things. It must be so hard for his kids only really getting one side of every story. I hope she receives your letter well. All the effort that you guys are going to will pay off in the end, I'm sure of it! Woo hoo @ having nothing to worry about at the dentist. I think if I can ever afford to go, they will fall off their chair when they see my teeth! ;)

Sarah - yay for Zander discovering the rest of the house. Just when you thought you only had to baby proof the lounge *insert evil giggle*. So cute when he knows he is about to get dunked in the pool! We haven't done that yet but I have been practicing with Gabby in the bath. I think she'll be ok with it when we do get to that stage. Yay for sleep getting better too. You must feel so much more energised! Good idea about showing each other our scrap books when you come down.

Bec - repeat after me... "My name is Rebecca and I am a Belly Belly addict"... ;) Why does it not surprise me that you found the "young guy" at Amcal really helpful??? You and your hot doctor and young men sprinkled all over Geelong! Does Nick know about them all?? ;) ;)

Nell - yay for Matty standing up!! Clever little chicken. It's so cute when they think they are just it-and-a-bit, hey? Apparently I used to snort like a pig when I did something I thought was totally brilliant... some people might say I haven't changed, LOL.

Feeling very unmotivated to do much today. I lost count of how many times I got up to Gabby last night. I think I even imagined her crying a couple of times and got up to find a perfectly sleeping baby 8-[ I think her top teeth must be trying to make their descent. Ah well... I shouldn't complain. One rotten night every now and then ain't so bad.
Also... we have movement when she's on her tummy! She now turns herself around with her hands when she wants to get to something. She's not quite getting any forward or backwards movement happening but it's a start! Maybe she'll just skip rolling and just start crawling one day! Typical Morris.. has to do everything arse-about ;)

Thanks guys on your comments on Matty - he is just standing holding onto stuff, not cruising around yet but very happy being upright. Of course that means more falls! Poor bubs.

Fi - you never ever stop do you girl? How did the meeting at work go or have I missed that? Hope Jenna gets better very soon.

Deb - yay at your night away, that must have been heaps of fun doing the scraping.

Bec - I had a hard time getting my egagement ring off when I was pregnant too, hope it gets fixed. Go Eliza - she'll be crawling very soon. ;)

Ahh Deb, Snot indeed ;) . Poor Jenna is sooooo sick. I feel bad taking her to swimming lessons this morning, but I asked them yesterday about it, and they said as long as shes not got ear problems, to come in. IN fact the water will probably clear her up a bit!
Shane took the first shift last night sleeping with her while I caught some Zzzz's in the spare bed. Then we swapped at about 3am when she needed feeding anf more medication. I couldn't get back to sleep again
!!! Grrr. But the good news is she actually slept til 6:45 this morning, which is very unusual for her. Maybe this little bug will make her sleep in a little more?

Nell - it may seem like I'm always on the go, but I also spend alot of time in front of the telly.... or computer! 8-[ The work meeting didn't go so well, which doesn't break my heart. Shane has a meeting today, and hopefully they will give him his redundancy!! They have told him they dont want him back as the legal ramifications are too great, but they dont want to pay him out. Well chaps, you cant have it both ways?

Come back all those who aren't posting!!! Its very quiet without Trish huh? I hope she's OK!!!

Sarah, thank goodness for the once a night wake up only. Must be a great relief!

Fi... ewww for all the snot. I think fess works the best... only prob is they scream when doing it, which isn't nice. Well done on the umpiring too... I got my level 0 umpiring certificate when I was 13 (I think) I umpired a couple of games but there is no way I could do it now.

Bec, yay for getting your ring fixed, and yay for a wonderful anniversary.

Emily fell out of bed last night... so I woke to a huge THUD!! Poor kid... so both girls were screaming at 4am. I think it woke Violet too much and I had to get her up at 4:50... oh well she is still sleeping now (8:20).

Violet is doing well with her food. For tea she usually has what ever we are having... but all mushed up... she also has pasta, but I haven't tried her on egg yet.

Yay at getting your eternity ring fixed Bec. I had to take my rings off very early due to swelling as well. Aaron bought me a replacement ring, nothing too expensive & I lost it 8-[

As for us, not a good night here last night. Zander decided it was too hot to sleep or something, not sure. I put him to bed at 9.35pm but noooo he was not having that. I then rocked/cuddled him until just after 10.00pm then went to bed myself. Then he was up crying again at 11.00pm so I rocked/cuddled him for another 1/2 an hour when he finally decided that was it for the night. After that no wakeups at all \:D/

Yay for no wake-ups Sarah. Probably worth the hassle of getting him down if it means that you didn't have to wake up in the middle of the night? LOL @ Zander and your sis doing the snort thing too. They must be intelligent people! Not to mention bloody gorgeous ;)

Tanya - oh no! Poor Em falling out of bed! That must have been so scary. Pity it woke Violet though. Nothing like having to start your day at the butt-crack of dawn, hey? Yep... my crappy night last night was a once off. Didn't hear a peep out of her from 9pm-7:30am then she was tired again by 8:30am! Sleepy bubby today. It worked out well though. She's having a nap before we go out to lunch with our ANC.

Fi - hope the water clears Miss Jenna's nose up a bit! Poor little chook. Good idea taking it in shifts last night. Yay for Shane getting his redundancy (hopefully!). Does that mean he will stay off work or will he just get another job?

Nell - get used to those falls! Little boys are shocking. My nephew knocked his front teeth out when riding his bike last week. The bummer is that they were brand, new adult teeth! The poor little bugga is going to now have to get his teeth capped every 3 months until he is old enough to have something more permanent done. Apparently he thinks it is all rather funny and he is quite proud of his injuries! Boys!

Spose I had better go and get ready for going out for lunch. It's gonna be great seeing all the bubs from ANC because I missed the last get-together so they are all gonna look sooooo big!

Fi - Awww for Jenna being snotty. Did the swimming lesson clear her up a bit? I keep meaning to look in to swimming lessons for Jacob and myself since we have a rather deep pool and I can't swim 8-[

Tanya - Poor Em falling out of bed and at 4am eeekkk! Yay for Violet doing so well with her food! Jacob's fav at the moment is the Heinz Banana cereal - brings out the guts in him every morning LOL!

Well, the last 24/48 hours here have been mayhem - what's new LOL! First I had Christian come down bit gastro Wed morning at 3am - great start to the morning cleaning up the noodles that reappeared from dinner #-o so I had him home from school Wed and Thurs. By 11am Wed Jacob and I bought shared in Christian's gastro - yes great just what I needed.
Just to top the whole thing off, Matthew slashed his arm open on the broken soap dish in the shower, so we spent 3 hours up at the emergency room at the hospital waiting to get it cleaned, checked for tendon and muscle damage and then stitched up. Typical of a 14 year old boy he thinks his arm looks wicked #-o .

Well I'm off to bed since I'm buggered at just after 1am. Going to dream about having some cushy days over the long weekend with no gastro or injuries!

Ohhh Nat!! Sounds like a rough day.

We had a much better night here. Shane and I actually managed to sleep for a few hours (10-about 2ish) before she woke up, and actually just had to feed her and she went back to sleep. SO almost back to normal on the sleep front. Still very snotty, poor wee thing.

Had a nice day at ANC reunion yesterday, I didn't get to stay long before leaving cause Shane had a work meeting, and I wasn't going to walk with missy moo sick (it was really cold and wet yesterday!!!)
