blaming hormones
So usually if i am cranky and being unreasonable because of hormones i do knwo i am doign it but i cant help it.
But if i get cranky at DP for say not washign up or somethign he laughs it off and tells me it is just my hormones he knows i am not really cranky,
Does anyone else find this. that everyone thinks ur cranky jus tbecause ur pregnant.
I know when i am cranky and i know when i am just hormonal. well most of the time hahaha

I'm with you on that one Sas!
It's like we can't be angry at them for a genuine reason! The ingorant *****s!
My DH does that too!
Yes I'm hormonal.. but guess what? You really ***** me sometimes! And I actually get angry for non-hormonal reasons! Wow what a concept!
GRRRRRRRR!:angry::angry:

Shel does that to me... I've been getting teary a lot, and yeah i know a lot of it is hormones, but when I'm really upset, and need to cry I DON'T need her laughing at me telling me its just hormones when I'm actually really upset!
GRRRRRRR! So yep, I hear you!

I'm with you girls. I have always been an organised, fiercely independent, controlled and strong minded woman while my DH is rather a 'cruiser'. Lately when I snap at him for something completely relevant i.e. one of the many things he does that always sh*ts me he gets this stupid look on his face which I feel like slapping off (OK maybe the slapping bit is hormones), giggles, claps his hands and says 'oh baby the hormone are really getting to you today' and then when I point out I've been pointing out this issue for YEARS that stupid bloody look returns, he holds his hands up in 'fear' and retreat and says 'less said quickest mended' - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I know I've been really cranky/teary lately... and I have snapped at DH a couple of times, he knows it's hormones but just calls me a cranky pants (with his smile!!) and I usually calm down and usually hug him to apologise... that's pretty much it... he doesn't really tease me for it or anything..

It is nice to be able to blame the pregnancy when you do fly off the handle for no reason, but it is annoying when people use "Oh, your just pregnant" whenever you try and make a point!
When will partners just realise we are ALWAYS right, no matter if we are pregnant or not?? :)

hahahahah JANE thats wat i said to dp the other night just dont argue ur always wrong anyways lol

Yes, I get this too. When I'm all teary or going off about nothing-in-particular, DH giggles and tells me 'I'm so pregnant it's cute'..:redface:
