Skincare Advice!
Ok! After posting in "am I a sahm" thread it has really got me thinking about myself and how I have let myself go since the birth of my baby.
So! Today I went out to buy some sort of skin care to start off with .. I have no idea what I am doing. I am 30 and have put moisturiser on my skin say hmmm 20times in my life! I have always had good skin and look young for my age,.. but I dont think this can continue without some effort on my part!
I got Garnier Nutirtionist from Coles. To start with I didnt want to walk out with out buying anything. Please help me!!
What is a good skin care range?
TIA
Jen

Hey Jen,
I prefer to use more natural products cos I have sensitive skin - I use natural instincts, you can get them from most chemists or online - their mosturiser and body wash are great!!
I know alot of the girls here use another more natural product called miessence (sp?) I've heard its great too!
HTH :)

whats your budget??? cause i could name sooo many but it really depends on what $$$$ you can spend!!!

hi Jen
why don't you start with some 'Dove' brand products. you can get them from priceline and i find they're usually great value. maybe start with a cleanser, moisturiser and eye cream. you'll find you'll love the feel of your skin in the morning if you apply these products before bed, i do anyway!

I dont really have a budget
Thanks Girls for your advice! So Dove is good .. I use the dove body wash .. I just thought that expensive might equal better .. but perhaps that is not the case?

Hi Jen,
I don't think expensive = better, not all the time anyway!!
I've also got sensitive skin, at the moment I'm using the 'pink' range from Nutrimetics. It's working really well for me.
Previously I've used Clinique (ok but not great) and Lancome (amazing but very $$$!). Lots of supermarket brands have irritated my skin so I stay clear of them just in case, but I think Garnier have a good reputation.
Have you ever had a skin diagnosis? You can often get these for free at cosmetic counters, and sometimes even with free samples - can be helpful to find out your skin type. Good luck!

Thanks Mrs P! I havent had a skin diagonsis, but that might be a good idea. Sometimes I feel pressured to buy things from the Myers counter iykwim ..
