Sewing with Hemp Terry

Have just acquired myself a machine and overlocker (3 thread) and looking to make up some prefold nappies out of HEMP TERRY.

It says it has a bit of a stretch. Would this mean I have to use special threads in etc in the overlocker?

Any help would be assisted!

You may need to adjust your presser foot pressure. If it's a stretchy fabric then adjusting your differential feed will help. That should be covered in your manual.

Be prepared to do a dodgy one or make sure you practice on some offcuts first to get it right. You may also have issues with the looper tension depending on the thickness too.

Not sure if I was given the manual... best see if that came in the box with all the other bits.. otherwise hopefully i can find a manual on the interwebs.
