Bleeding

Hi Ladies
Not too sure if this is the appropriate place to ask this question.
What is the 'norm' for bleeding.
I had a c-section 12 days ago and my bleeding has been pretty light. I had a night of lots of feeds and when I had a shower this morning there was quite a bit of blood. Not too sure if there was clots or not but there was a lot. It then seemed to just stop.

Do you think I should be worried about it at this stage??? Do you think I should be going to the Dr ???

ring your ob, they should be able to help you out over the phone

Hi Jacki, it does sound very normal to me. Bleeding can go light to heavy quite frequently for quite a few weeks after birth and clots are normal too. If you are concerned definitely speak to your hospital, GP or OB.

Bleeding seems to have settled for now.
