prelabour?
Hi,
Hoping that someone will be able to give me an idea as to where i am...
Last night at about 10pm i started getting what i took to be BH - painless but would make me breathless and was having to breathe through them.
They continued through the night, i slept on and off, still not too much pain
Achey back and some lower abdo cramping
THese have continued throughout the whole day.
Have felt like i have needed to poo a few times, i suspect that it is just pressure as i have been a couple of times but not really loose (sorry TMI)
These ?Bh ? early contractions, are now more frequent and my whole belly is tight most of the time.
No show
No ROM
Any thoughts?

Hey, wow how very exciting.
You dont have to have a show or ROM to go into labour. It certainly sounds like things will heat up for you in the next few days. Pre-labour can go for a while though so try to get rest and dont get too excited until they start getting painful and regular (hard I know :D). Enjoy this time. Sounds like your baby is close!

SammieJane,
With my #2 I thought prelabour had just begun or maybe BH and I was due to go to the doc for my 37 week check up. When I got there he looked up the chute and said he could see bubbies head. She was born 20 mins later.
Not trying to freak you out. Just listen to your body, but also make sure you know where the car keys are...;) GL

myson, that's amazing!!
Sammiejane, hows it going? Any news? Guess I should go check birth announcements eh?

No news, it stopped after 24 hours... restarted again a couple of days later and has been on and off.
OB thinks that it is any day now, I have finally hit that place that so many people have got too. My body is tired and i am now over being pg. Bubs can come any time now! PLEASE!!!!

Oooh two days until your due date! I know it sounds RIDICULOUS now, but try to rest up and relax before bubs comes along. Get as much sleep as you can, check that you've got everything ready for baby and practice the positions, breathing, natural pain relief methods you've probably learned. That one is SO important. I really wish I'd practiced the natural pain relief techniques before I went into labour, when it actually happened I didn't remember what to do lol!
