Endo & TTC

Hi Ladies,

I am currently TTC#1 :dance:

I was diagnosed with Endo when i had a Lap in 2000. I have never had any endo symptoms tho and since being off the pill (4 months) I have had perfect cylces and great fertility signs!

I was wondering if everything can 'seem' perfect but infact be quite problematic. I would have thought if I was going to have fertility issues that I would have some sort of indication, ie. not O'ing occasionally, irregular cycles... but my body is ticking over like clock work :p

I would also love to hear from any ladies with endo who have had no trouble TTC - some good news would be lovely :)

Hi lilcosmo...I was diagnosed with endo after my lap in 2005 and was told both my tubes were blocked and I wouldn't be able to conceive naturally.

After my lap, my cycles were pretty much perfect as well, just the little eggies had no where to go to find their swimming partners :) until September last year when a tough little cookie got through and I'm now 25 weeks pregnant. So it can happen, never say never!

I just wanted to let you know that there are some success stories out there.
I was 21 when my main un-ignorable symptoms of endo started (but looking back I had signs since I was 12). I was 24 by the time I got diagnosed (long long story), anyway I had a lap surgery in Sep 1996 and my endo was very severe and I was told I had a two year window of opportunity to conceive and was pregnant by Sep 1997 YAY.
I had my wee boy May 1998. In Dec 1999 I miscarried twins which was devastating but I was lucky enough to be pregnant again by March 2000. I had my baby girl in Nov 2000. I have three friends who also have endo between them they have had five children.
So it can be done, just keep your chin up.
