For those ladies that have had babies - when does the pregnancy brain fog lift? Is it (please!) soon after birth?
Hmmm.....my youngest is 4 months...oldest 15 months..and the fog doesnt seem to be lifting anytime soon!
:cryinglaugh: Marcellus...does it ever??
No really I found I felt myself again around 3-4 months after birth, when things are settling down and i'm starting to get sleep or get used to no sleep! It takes a while to get used to having to think about someone else constantly too, don't worry it will lift.....well I'm hoping so anyway!! :D
I'm not sre it ever lifts ;)
well after having 3 I think I am in the fog for life...lol
My friend said to me that she is positive the day her son was born they replaced her brain with mashed potato. So it doesn't look good
As someone who was finishing her honours just before DS and is now at 10 months starting her PhD, I was most disappointed to find the mother duck brain 'myth' to be completely and unfortunately true. Still waiting for it to go.....
Noooooooooo! nobody told me this before
What was the question again?
I think mine is permanently foggy now although i can't remember how bad it was before hehehe
My brain is still quite foggy almost a year on..
Well I can gladly say that most of my pregnancy brain which I had REALLY bad with my first pregnancy lifted after about 2 years and I am really pleased with this pregnancy as I haven't really experienced pregnancy brain (not yet anyway!!).

...So i should expect to forget my mums plate at home everytime i go to visit her or intend to give it back to her for quite a while now then huh??
I seem to ALWAYS forget stuff, i went to the shops to buy shoes with a gift voucher, only to realise id left the gift voucher at home...
And been to my parents house about 4 times now with the intention of taking my mums plate back to her, only to forget it here at home...
And it took about 2 weeks til i finally got a book to my mum that i told her id lend her...
Ah well, I'm trying not to worry too much about baby brain, they have clinically proven that it happens to women and it's not just in our imagination, so it works a treat as an excuse for forgetting stuff at work :D
He he he... I printed out and posted the news article about 'baby brain' on my office wall so I can point to it if anyone points out anything stupid I've done!
Think my team are a bit sick of the excuse though! ;) Only two weeks of work left to go! Whoo hoooo
