Abnormal Cevical Cells
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Everyone
Hope your all well!!
I was wondering if anyone can help me. My husband and I have been TTC for almost 3 months now. Back in May 2004 and August 2005 I had abnornal cervical cells burnt off (twice). Before we started to TTC I had a pap test and all was good, they found no bad cells. But back in 2004 they said after the surgury there was more abnormal cells then they had expected and removed more then they first thought they had to. Now I am TTC, will the surgury I have had make it harder for my husband and I to fall pregnant?
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas about this.
Thanks Bree

Hi Bree
I was in a similar situation to you. I had a cone biopsy done and they ended up removing more cells than was planned. I was told to wait at least a year before TTC and make sure my pap smears were clear.
All went well and I fell pg with no problems (I was actually still on the pill at the time). So as long as your clear than I shouldn't think that it will affect you TTC. HTH
All the best.
